School To World 2012

02.25.12. LOBOmotormports was honored to participate in the 12th Annual School To World event on February 25, 2012 in the Albuquerque Convention Center. This event is geared toward 8th and 9th grade students so that they can begin thinking about career choices for their future. Local businesses, large corporations, and government agencies were just some of the other presenters that attended the event that were separated into different fields of work (i.e. science and technology, business, military, etc.).

LOBOmotorsports was happy to be invited and take two of their prior year’s cars (2009 and 2011). The students were able to take pictures in the cars with friends while learning about engineering design, decisions, and manufacturing. Most people don’t know that University of New Mexico has an FSAE team, so the event was also good exposure for us. We look forward to attending School to World for many years to come!
